6 Post-Raya Shopping Ideas

3:36 PM

We hope it's not too late to yell out a "Selamat Hari Raya" or a happy "Eid El Fitr" to all our readers!

Here in Malaysia we take our celebrations very seriously, and now that Raya is over and we're back to work, we can now take advantage of our 'raya' money and spend some of our 'ang pau's' on what we want!

So, Bubblebeam made a quick stop to Publika, Solaris Dutamas just a few days before Raya and picked out 5 favourite pop up stalls that scattered around the middle of the mall. They might not have the pop up stalls now but you'll be sure to check them out online for their stuff, and you can carry on to shop for the things you desire.

Bubblebeam asked each of the five stall vendors to pick one of their favourite items in the stall personally.

Below are the 6 post-raya mini shopping destinations you'd want to get to know!

 MARILAMARI

A shop that dons vintage clothes, bags and styles, Marilamari Fashion is also an online store, active on Facebooks, Carousell, Instagram and Duriana amonsgt others.

We asked the shop's own Princess Tee Lilian Wong to pick her favourite item:

The white lace top could go with different styles and outfits, which fits the theme of the store because of how versatile everything is there.

BLUE EYES

An already established Turkish store it seems with galleries at Central Market, Ampang and Wisma Central, Blue Eyes caught our attention at Publika because of their beautiful design thanks to their delightful traditional lights.

We asked them to pick a favourite item:

The most lavish of them all is this big piece, even taller than me! A big purchase but if you're looking to light up your home with something unique, here you are.

LATTEEY'S

This shop mostly sells beauty items, and they have a whole lot of it. You'll be swimming with choices when you're searching through their table or scrolling through their Instagram.

But surprisingly, this was what they picked when they were asked to choose their favourite:

This Korean backpack has been seen in magazines and stylish individuals, but who knew a beauty stall sold such variation!

OLDEES

Oldees gave us the brilliant idea of using stylish kimonos and kimono wraps as a part of our traditional 'raya' outfit! They had the most beautiful variations.

Let's see which one they picked as their favourite:

This daring and breathtaking kimono is their star piece, for a whopping price. But the beauty and comfort is definitely worth the investment.

PARI-PARI

A popular store, with most of their stock at the stall already sold, Pari-Pari gives you the cutest outfit ideas and you'll need to keep them in mind for your next time you need a traditional outfit for an event.

The director Juliana Mohamad Jamil picked out this piece as her favourite:

This top can not only be used as a traditional top, but as a cover up for simple to extravagant outfits you wear on a daily basis!

A break from outfits, YY Gift handpicks the quirkiest and unique home products like pillowcases and sleeves.

We asked the owner Yunni to pick her favourite:
