Check out tunes from each Good Vibes Fest artist!

10:12 PM

Aahh, Good Vibes. The feel good, colourful and absolutely fun music festival brought upon us last year in 2013. The good news, if you haven't heard is that the fest is back for 2014, and it has already sold out it's first phase of tickets. So you'd better get yours fast before they get more and more expensive.

If you need a reason to why you should get the tickets, here are a lot of big reasons to why you should.

Look through the line up of artists that will be playing at the fest and listen to some of their best tunes... all in one page!

ELLIE GOULDING

Headlining it all is none other than electro pop songstress Ellie Goulding. She rose to high power stardom with her track "Lights" and since then she has established herself as a true blue modern pop essential with our favourite track of hers "Anything Could Happen", amongst other monster hits.

EMPIRE OF THE SUN

The electro glam pop duo, and also the fashion gurus of the coloured martian spangled cosmos Empire of the Sun captivates the music scene with their excellent songwriting skills with their catchy and flashy beats and melodies. "Alive" is just one of their many danceable tracks.

BANKS

With her striking beauty, voice and synth-y alternative R&B pop, Banks is a British musician to look out for as she creates more and more content out there. With only an EP out, Banks has already been lending her stuff for a Victoria Secret commercial, and for a soundtrack on Divergent.

!!! (CHK CHK CHK)

Their band name might sound slightly alarming, but !!! (Chk Chk Chk) is the highlight of cool and catchy, and they are something we should be paying more attention to. Now with their fifth album, they have more of a definitive voice in their sound and if you love fun indie rock madness you're going to want to give them a go.

ELECTRICO

Indie pop rock sounds really freaking awesome in Singapore. Just ask the guys of Electrico. Creating easily loved tracks in catchy pop rock form, tracks like "Runaway" and "Goodtime" will take you back to the best of the pop rock in early 2000s.

DA VAGABONDS

Do you love plain old modern rock and roll? Do you love having fun and losing your shit? Then you're going to have the time of your life jamming out to the music of Da Vagabonds. Noh Hujan's side project is spontaneous and extremely splash-worthy, and the music will make you want to kick over a television and thrash an entire floor of a hotel if you listen to it enough. Don't worry, that's a good thing.

KYOTO PROTOCOL (DJ SET)

Okay, we don't really know what they mean by one of the strongest Malaysian bands doing a DJ set, but we have faith that they will be great anyway. Let's not forget that they also came out with one of the best indie music videos in Malaysia. It is possibly one of the best music videos in Malaysia period. Their music is pretty neat-o too.

BITTERSWEET

One of the pioneers of modern indie music in Malaysia, Bittersweet was named after the Verve's hit song and has created a large space for them in the independent music industry in the country. They sound a bit like a celebratory poppy version of The Killers, so that's pretty damn incredible.

FROYA

With a stage name that will always remind us of a delicious and slightly healthy dessert, Froya, or Michelle Lee released her first single "Fries and Cream" and since then she has blossomed as a known indie pop singer songwriter in Malaysia and some parts over the world.

+2DB

A dark and twisted electronic pop duo, +2db are two adorable human beings creating haunting beats and experimental tunes for the music loving public. They have been making waves and their sessions with Fly FM's Stripped has gotten them a lot of attention, especially with their cover of Daft Punk's Get Lucky.

LAPSAP

DJs Blink and Xu created a brand for themselves 'trash' inspired electronic sounds. It might sound weird as hell but they do start up one heck of a great party, linking cutting edge visuals with hard edged beats. Their shows will definitely be a spectacle for the festival.

DANGERDISKO

The electronica DJ duo Dangerdisko of Robotron 5000 and Shaheed Naz, though inspired by the likes of JUSTICE and Daft Punk, have their own unique voice in their style of music. They are also known for remixing some of Malaysia's biggest hits like Sheila Majid's Sinaran and Yuna's Someone Out of Town, so their Malaysian heart can be heard as well.

FAIQ AND THE MANJA MOB

A super duper new band that shows a lot of promise, Faiq and the Manja Mob describes themselves as a whimsical cover band, and even though they don't have their own original material yet, they are scoring some serious points with the indie music scene already.

NARMI

Rising out of his band One Buck Short like a soft and cuddly lightning bolt, Narmi is an established indie singer songwriter with a massive fanbase and a lot of airplay with his tune Make me Whirl. A voice addictive enough to make a fan go bananas, and songs warm enough to make them melt, his set on stage will be something to sing along to.

ELIZABETH TAN

Known for her creative takes of song covers by other artists like Joe Flizzow and Lorde, Elizabeth Tan quickly became a fire rapid artist with music producers and writers looking to work with her. With full on potential and a wide measure of talent, Tan is starting to go places.

INDIEGO & CO

Treat yourself to some outrageous fun and dance with the guys of Indiego & Co. Formed by Robotron 5000 (Dangerdisko), Ruud (Deer Society) and Bunga (Twilight Actiongirl), these DJs will make you want to dance, sing a long and have a good time, giving you just what you need to kick off any bad vibes you have left in your bones.

THE COTTON FIELD SCARECROWES

Sounding like a mix of Sigur Ros, Jeff Buckley and The Avett Brothers (Oh yeah, weird to imagine but so so good) with a band name like The Cotton Field Scarecrowes, you would have had to wonder if you were expecting full blown country folk or the musings of synth made out of just voices and strings. The answer is none, of both, or everything, because you really actually have to just listen to their stuff because they're pretty rad.
