You should listen to Karen O's Moon Song w/ Ezra Koenig

If you haven't seen Spike Jonze's Her by now, you should probably go watch it quick before you regret it. It is one of the most beautifully written movies I've seen in a long time, and the story with the world in it will suck you in and spit you out before you get the chance to beg the movie theater to take you back.

Besides it being a film you can't miss, the other standout feature in the film was The Moon Song, written by Karen O of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs.

You would have heard Scarlett Johansson and Joaquin Phoenix sing the song as their characters in the film, and it would have given you goosebumps.

Now that the song has become an Academy Award nominated song, the Moon Song is going places, and will be an official Karen O single, with three versions of it arriving in iTunes.

In one of the versions, Karen O sings it with Vampire Weekend's Ezra Koenig.

“I wrote the song as a duet,” Karen O explained. "I was really excited at the prospect of getting to record it with a male vocalist. Ezra was super cool and open, he slipped into character like a champ and damn he's got the goods."
