Top 5 Looks: BAFTAs 2014

8:08 PM

The BAFTAs are cool because most of the worldly known prestigious awards are in America. This British awards ceremony can be both sophisticated and kooky, just like the fashion choices for some of our celebrities for that evening.

We have compiled our favourite 5 looks that have slayed the other looks to pieces.

5. Amy Adams

Amy Adams has always had good taste in dresses, though this particular one is sort of safe. Still, the darker look suited her and the collar look might have been off putting if it were worn by other people but her long neck gracefully pulls it off.

4. Fearne Cotton

The English television presenter wore a bold stated gold printed dress and it looked really great on her, even with her rather poofy whimsical hair. We love the nails as well, with the entire look.

3. Ruth Wilson

We love this look because it was the right amount of flashy and formal. Her red shoes went well with the red bit on her coat, so it didn't look all too out of place. Ruth's hair was also really dreamy.

2. Angelina Jolie

Look, more suits! And if anyone can pull off a suit it is Angelina Jolie. The untied bowtie look was also so good on her and it might have looked unkempt if it was worn wrong but sthere is no doubt she can handle it. She also had the best accessory... Brad Pitt.

1. Lupita Nyong'o

The look that slayed them all, Lupita Nyong'o might have lost the award for Best Supporting Actress to Jennifer Lawrence, but she was killing it on the red carpet. This dress is perfect and the colour is beautiful on her. The metal bracelets also complimented the belt. We can only dream and wait for what she would be wearing for the Academy Awards because she has been a non stop red carpet pleaser from the beginning.
